The Gallbladder is a small organ that is present below the liver in the upper right abdomen where it stores yellow-green liquid called bile that helps digestion. Gallstones are occurs when there is too much cholesterol in the bile which is yellow in color. These stones occur when the liver produces more cholesterol that cannot dissolve by the bile. Pigment gallstones occurs when the liver produce more bilirubin which gallbladder cannot dissolve.
